Seasonal Expressions Blog Hop
Welcome!  If you arrived here from Tina Lovell's blog, you are in the right place.
It was fun to take a break from the snow and cold and look forward to the warm days of Spring by working with the bright and cheerful colors of the Penelope kit.  I used the stamp set B1516 "Your Beautiful Self" for the butterfly and the message.  I worked a little Design Space magic on my Cricut machine to cut out the flowers and the stems from using our Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges.  A few buttons from my stash, threaded with some Thistle Extra Thick Twine add some dimension to the flowers.  It was easy to cover a button with a piece of the Limeade Washi Tape--you can use an odd colored button and make it match your project by covering it with Washi Tape!  Some hand-drawn dotted lines using our great journaling pen make the flowers stand out.
Now head on over to the scraptabulous Dana Kessler's blog to see the beautiful project that she created for you.

  3. I always have to sit and study the details of everything you make. I always fall in love at first sight, and then realize there are even more subtle details to love. The dotted lines around the flowers are the perfect touch.
