Simply Inspired CTMH New Idea Book Blog Hop

Welcome to our Simply Inspired CTMH New Idea Book Blog Hop.  If you arrived from Debbi Fournier's blog, you are in the right place.  This blog is like a big circle, so if you get lost, you can find the complete list of participants here.  This month it is "anything goes" and I chose to work with our new Ariana paper packet--my favorite of the seven new kits!  The card I made is quite simple, but I tried a fun new technique to use for the body of the butterfly.  I used  a piece of the green B&T paper from the Ariana kit and our Liquid glass and made a paper bead--so simple!

Here is how you make a paper bead:

I used some yellow-tipped sewing pins for the antennae on the butterfly.  Just bend them slightly and then put a blog of Beacons 3-in-1 glue on the pins and glue them inside the top of the paper bead.

Now head over to Carolyn Johnston's blog and see her beautiful artwork.
